Dr. Dilnoza Duturaeva is a historian of Central Asia and China with extensive international research experience. She currently works at CETOBaC-EHESS on the DFG-funded project The Turks and the Sinitic World: A History of the Silk Road in the 10th-12th centuries. Her research deals with international trade roads and networks during the Qarakhanid period, and the conditions and driving forces of the globalization process in Eurasia. Dr. Duturaeva is in charge of the Steppe Sisters projects supported by the Humboldt Alumni Award 2021 for Innovative Networking Initiatives (2021-2024)
