Dr. Dilnoza Duturaeva is a Lecturer in Medieval History at the University of York. She specializes in the history of Central Asia and China. Her first book Qarakhanid Roads to China: A History of Sino-Turkic Relations deals with international trade roads and networks during the Qarakhanid period, and the conditions and driving forces of the globalization process in Eurasia. Dr. Duturaeva is in charge of the Steppe Sisters projects supported by the Humboldt Alumni Award 2021 for Innovative Networking Initiatives (2021-2024)
