New Constitution for UK Charity Status

One of our primary goals is to make Steppe Sisters not just an effective network, but also a sustainable organization. One way we are addressing this is to pursue Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) status for the Steppe Sisters Network in the United Kingdom. This will allow us to accept donations which will help us maintain a consistent funding stream separate from grant application rounds.
 
Becoming a CIO requires that we adopt a new constitution, laying out the responsibilities of a Board of Trustees who will oversee the charity operations.
